APT Releases Further Enhancements to v6
ARLINGTON, Virginia — Applied Predictive Technologies (APT) announced new features added to the APT Suite v6.
Expanded test design functionality, analytic and modeling feature enhancements and improved process work flows will allow clients like Staples, Wells Fargo and Kraft to execute profit-enhancing business tests even more rapidly and accurately than before.
The APT Suite combines leading-edge technology (an artificial intelligence platform that deploys multiple advanced pattern recognition and optimization algorithms) with workflow automation and multi-user collaboration functionality to make it easy for large consumer focused companies to institutionalize a world-class Test & Learn capability. APT’s products include Network Planner, Test & Learn for Sites, Test & Learn for Customers, Merchandise Optimization and Performance Manager. Leading companies around the world use these products to optimize capital investment, operating, merchandising, marketing and HR decisions.
The APT Suite v6 enhances already powerful optimization software with a number of significant new features. Specific examples of new features released include:
- Enhanced tools to manage submitted test requests. New features allow users to easily track and modify requested tests and to prioritize future tests. Straightforward graphs help keep track of tests in each phase of the process, from the time they are requested to their rollout.
- Standardized test templates letting users save frequently used settings and use best practice defaults
- State of the Art Mapping Technology allowing users to visualize the geography and performance of test locations with improved mapping tools - including easily being able to zoom, pan, view street names, overlay satellite images or even overlay competitor locations to get a better understanding of how variations in store by store performance may be driven by the store’s environment.
- Enhancements to trigger marketing analysis capabilities which enable more sophisticated control group strategies, including support for varying control groups by date to more precisely measure trigger campaigns that are in continual operation over periods of months or years.
- Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) Models that can be applied to new and existing customers to predict future spend and other behavior patterns
- Test & Learn for Customers analysis job queue which now tracks multiple long running analyses automatically, informing users by email as each completes -- particularly valuable for analyses which involve millions of customers and/or large amounts of transactional data.
- Segmented comparisons for customer-level tests, allowing analysts to easily monitor customer behavior over time (e.g., high balance customers are shifting their usage from teller to online, families are increasing / decreasing their purchases of dairy products, we are losing middle income families the fastest, etc.)
"With the release of the new features to v6, we are continually pushing our goal of making our clients’ internal analysts’ jobs faster and easier. The new features deployed will enable testing teams to rapidly develop game plans for testing initiatives, driving greater value for our clients," said Mark D’Agostino, Senior Vice President, Product Management at Applied Predictive Technologies.
