Why APT?

After spending a year in economics consulting, I knew that I really wanted to work on solving key strategic business issues. Yet coming from an analytical background, I wanted to find a strategy consulting firm that employed a quantitative approach to solving business problems. Enter APT. Here was a company that was working with leading companies around the globe on their most difficult challenges. Here was a company utilizing rigorous analytic and data-driven techniques in order to understand how these businesses can succeed. And on top of all this, APT offered a unique opportunity to join a small, growing firm where consultants are given substantial responsibility and opportunity to make a material impact.

Additionally, APT stood out to me from other consulting firms because of its dual consulting – software nature. Unlike other firms, APT has a tangible product that is adding value to our clients’ businesses well beyond the typical consulting offerings of intelligence and experience (which we certainly have plenty of at APT). Moreover, APT’s business model embodies the notion that teaching a man to fish is far better than giving him a fish. At APT, our goal is to give companies the tools to solve difficult questions themselves as opposed to constant reliance on consulting services. After considering all these things, I knew working at APT would give me an unparalleled sense of satisfaction, which made deciding to join APT an obvious choice.
