Why APT?
I chose APT because of the people that I met throughout the process of applying. From the start, it was clear that everyone at APT enjoyed their job and, more importantly, enjoyed being around each other. My experiences at APT thus far have validated this view. APT has done a great job of hiring very unique people who come together to create a culture that can get a lot of work done during the day, and have a lot of fun together afterward.
Daily Responsibilities:
A day at APT involves a high level of responsibility from the start. So far, I’ve played a significant role in managing client relationships, running analyses that shape a client’s business strategy, and running training sessions. While there is a lot of work to do, the end result is always tangible.
Outside of Work:
Besides the obvious post-work activities, I try to stay active by biking and running on many of the trails in the DC area in preparation for marathons and a triathlon next June. I also continue to play a fair bit of golf on weekends, and never pass up a chance to play some tennis, basketball, or poker. Besides that, I keep a blog on politics and other current events and anything else that comes to mind.
