I became interested in APT after a discussion at a school career fair. As someone with a science background, I was intrigued by the Test and Learn process and applying the scientific method to deliver business solutions. During the interview process, I consistently was impressed by the caliber of people I was meeting and was genuinely excited by the discussions I was having. I was drawn to the rigorous quantitative analysis done at APT and the chance to do something a little different than the standard fare of business consulting.
The role of the Business Consultant at APT is a combination of proving to new clients that we can deliver significant value to their organization and providing support to existing clients so they continue realizing the benefits of APT. For new clients, this means taking a leading role in high-impact analyses and presenting the results to c-level executives that change business decisions. For existing clients, this means partnering with them on particularly tricky analysis and making sure that their user experience is as valuable as possible.
When I’m not working, I spend most of my time doing something related to sports. I’m a huge football (go Packers!) and baseball fan and spend what others might consider an inordinate amount of time following these sports. Being a nerd, I’m very interested in the analytical side to these sports and love learning about advanced metrics for quantifying athlete performance. I also enjoy road biking, weight lifting, and sprinting.
