Why APT?
I chose APT because I wanted to learn how to provide the most fact-based and quantitative answers to business questions. The rigorous analytical approach appealed to my background in engineering and science, while providing me with an opportunity to develop a business sense and intuition for consumer-facing companies.
Though I only recognized this in retrospect, the relaxed and collaborative atmosphere in the office is what makes me look forward to work each day. At any given moment, someone in the offices is down for a game of foosball or debating which would be a more appealing opponent: a mountain lion or a bear. Planned events like Iron Chef, summer BBQs, rafting, and happy hours also ensure that you get to know your coworkers beyond their favorite music to work to or preferred color schemes in Power Point.
Daily Responsibilities
On a daily basis, I can expect to get a few calls from analysts at the clients I work with, investigate some data imports, and work on a pilot analysis.
Outside of Work
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy exploring San Francisco, trying new restaurants, and travelling.
