Why APT?
I joined APT because it was a fantastic fit with my professional interests. APT's Test & Learn approach corresponds exactly to the type of analysis I was most interested in at UVa. I get to help companies make strategic decisions based on data instead of opinions. Our analyses generate quantifiable results; we clearly show clients which ideas translate to profits and which ideas do not. Additionally I wanted to be able to make large contributions to the analytic capability of our software. In the last six months, I've been able to drive two major analytic additions to our product.
The other primary reason I joined APT is the people. Everyone here is intelligent, friendly, professional and eager to do their best every day. It's a treat to get to work with people who are the best at what they do and want to help you do your best too.
Finally, I joined APT because it represents a great opportunity to help a company when i's still at a size that every individual can make a significant contribution. At APT, I get an opportunity to help the company continue to build on the tremendous growth it has already achieved.
Daily Responsibilities:
So far I have helped in the development of our newest product: Test & Learn for Customers. I've been a part of the data acquisition, database population and finally data analysis we've been conducting as we build Test & Learn for Customers into an exciting new product.
Outside of Work:
I play guitar and sing for the band "The Taste" - you can find often find us playing gigs around town. I also enjoy running and checking out DC's various attractions.
