Why APT?

After working at an economic consulting firm after college, I returned to graduate school to learn more tools to model and analyze data. When looking for work thereafter, I was excited when I found out about the opportunities available at APT to make significant impacts in advancing the state of the art business analytics. Academic research is valuable in it's own right, but I am passionate about applying new technologies in practice. APT provides a playground for such endeavors and a unique chance to introduce academic rigor into the business space.
