Why APT?
One of the primary requirements of my job search was the need to find a company where I could work hard, work on exciting new technologies, and work with the best in the business. When I came across APT, I soon realized that these qualities were all present here, including many other facets such as client interaction, rapid development, and an unbelievable passion to improve all the time. The people I came across during my interviews were extremely friendly (and awesome) and contributed to the realization that this is the perfect place to work for me. It has been just 2 months since I've joined APT, but I'm convinced this is definitely a great place to work, given the exciting opportunities that one gets, the visibility of a startup, and the ability to make a difference to the way the company works and functions.
Daily Responsibilities:
Being a DA, my major responsibilities include understanding the clients' requirements, ensuring the data that they provide is sufficient for analyses in APT, finding new/efficient ways to transform and load data into the system, etc. Every day is a new challenge, since we work with multiple clients at the same time. I'm currently involved with 6 different clients (and it's only my 2nd month at work!).
Outside of Work
I'm a huge sci-fi movie fan, and am part of the (unofficial) Star Wars mailing group within APT. You can identify me within office by noticing a poster of Darth Vader on my desk. I'm also a sport enthusiast (primarily tennis, soccer, cricket, Formula 1, etc.). I enjoy listening to music (often louder than most people) and also play the guitar and the violin. As with most other APT-ers, I've developed a recent passion for foosball and hope to break into APT's A-league foosball tournament soon!
