 Why APT?

I was initially attracted to work at APT because of the opportunity to gain rapid exposure to a multitude of business issues within a variety of industries. As a consultant, I was able to simultaneously work on several client teams. This gave me the chance to experience solving an assortment of business problems while interacting with different colleagues.

Also, I wanted to work at an organization where I felt that my contributions were valued and where I could make a significant impact. At APT, I have always been given responsibility and the opportunity to make my mark on the company.

Lastly, I really enjoy the youthful and energetic culture of APT employees. APT’s relatively small size presents a fantastic opportunity to develop meaningful friendships with your peers. We learn a lot from each other and are also able to have fun in a relaxed working environment.

Daily responsibilities:

In my time at APT, I have worked in both consulting and sales roles. Currently, I work in sales, developing relationships with prospect accounts to gain new client engagements. As APT continues to grow, we are determined to broaden our business applicability and enter new industries. Thus, my role is to create the foundation of our client base within the insurance and restaurant verticals. I spend the majority of my days speaking with executives about the advantages of our Test & Learn capability. From making calls to conducting web presentations, my task is to increase interest in our solutions and work toward defining tangible client engagements.

Outside of work:

The majority of my life outside of work revolves around sports. I love both watching and playing almost any team sport. Growing up in Michigan, I have always been a die-hard Detroit sports fan. Also, I enjoy informing anyone I can find about the daily happenings of the Michigan State football and basketball programs (by the way MSU is having a killer 2009 football recruiting season). I keep active by playing in various sports leagues from softball to indoor soccer to hockey and enjoy exploring the many fun activities that DC has to offer.
