I realized very quickly that APT offered a challenging, exciting, and rewarding work environment. APT has a high quality product, which brings immediate value to its clients in a very short time. Since APT has clients in a myriad of different industries, each day I am learning something completely different from the day before. Additionally, I wanted an environment where I would have real responsibility right away. This is exactly what I have acquired during my short time at APT.
Furthermore, I enjoy the opportunity to speak with senior level executives of large retailers and consumer goods manufacturers on a daily basis. A small, growing company like APT offers great opportunities for advancement. Not only is the job stimulating, but also the work environment is a very supportive one. From day one, I felt very welcomed into the APT family. Everyone at APT, regardless of his or her position in the company, is very friendly and approachable. The emphasis is on mentoring by experienced professionals in a collaborative, non-competitive environment.
I work on the sales side for APT. My daily responsibilities focus on attracting new manufacturing clients. I am usually found either researching business issues that potential clients are struggling with, speaking to and educating potential clients on the benefits of the APT suite of products and everything that APT has to offer them, or doing webexes for potential clients to share actual case studies illustrating how other companies have used the APT suite to address business issues pressing to that executive.
I enjoy spending time with friends, seeing movies, reading books (particularly mysteries), and listening to Broadway show tunes.
