Why APT?

Looking back, I never would have joined APT if it weren’t for a recruiter who personally reached out to me at a university career fair. I was immediately impressed with her enthusiasm and energy but was concerned that I wasn’t perfect for the sales role. As I interviewed with more employees, both junior and senior, I was amazed at how friendly and genuine everyone was. I found that APT valued intelligence, creativity, and a strong academic and extracurricular background in addition to sales experience. I was surprised to find that many of my coworkers would also become some of my closest friends with relationships that extended beyond the workplace. My peers keep me motivated and working hard, although I’ve found that there is always time in the office to toss a football or play a game of foosball to clear my head.

I was excited to begin my role in sales which allows me to get in touch with senior management from top brand-name companies on a daily basis. Although it can be challenging to step outside of my comfort zone, the close-knit sales team has been patient and approachable in coaching and guiding me though the sales process. Due to the small and quickly growing nature of APT, I’ve felt a strong connection with the success of the company and believe that, with time, I will have great opportunities for advancement. In addition, the flat organizational structure gives me the chance to have daily interactions with our own senior management who is deeply interested in my professional growth.
