Walmart and APT Co-Present at the Loss Prevention, Auditing and Safety Conference

WASHINGTON, D.C. – April 5th, 2011 – Applied Predictive Technologies (APT) announced today they will be co-presenting alongside Walmart at the Loss Prevention, Auditing & Safety Conference held on April 11 -14 in Orlando, Florida. The symposium is expected to have over 800 individuals from 261 companies, drawing in representation from the who’s who in retail. Loss prevention is but one area that APT helps its clients address with its Test & Learn™ management system. A powerful fact-based approach for choosing, targeting, and tailoring strategic and tactical actions for maximum impact and profitability, APT's revolutionary Test & Learn™ software is leveraged by 28 of the top 100 retailers to improve all client-facing aspects of their business, including the "causes and cures" of retail store shrink.

Please join us for a presentation about reducing shrink, a constant struggle for retailers. While many new loss-prevention initiatives may initially seem promising, translating that potential into bottom-line results is far from guaranteed. The 60-minute session will provide a high-level overview of real and actionable causes of shrink and how analytics can help retailers, including Walmart, make better loss-prevention decisions moving forward.
