Andrew Fedorchek, Chief Technology Officer of APT, is the lead architect and developer of the company's software suite.
Mr. Fedorchek has led APT’s engineering efforts since 2003. He has established a world-class software team through engineering excellence, business application of data science, Big Data scaling, automated and analytic quality assurance, strategic product management, and by fostering a strong team culture conducive to rapid career development. During his time with the company, APT’s software has won multiple International Business Awards and was selected as one of four 2015 Gartner “Cool Vendors” in Analytics.
Before joining APT, Mr. Fedorchek served as Senior Director of Engineering for Aether Systems, where he managed the development of all software products. Previously, he served as a Captain in the United States Army, where he was Chief of the Data Operations Branch of the Army Directorate of Program Analysis and Evaluation in the Pentagon.
Mr. Fedorchek graduated with academic distinction from the United States Military Academy at West Point with degrees in mathematics and physics. He earned a National Science Foundation Scholarship for excellence in mathematics and a Fannie and John Hertz Foundation Fellowship. He subsequently earned an M.S. in Scientific Computing and Computational Mathematics from Stanford University.
Mr. Fedorchek co-authored three books on advanced database query design and distributed architectures. He also holds numerous patents in web and analytic software techniques.
